Spark Beer and Pizza opened in 2020 with a goal to produce and serve the best lagers, hoppy, sour and Belgian influenced beers possible. Owners Andrea and John have lived in and around Chinatown for over 20 years and, along with chef Jeff, set up shop steps away from the beautiful Chinatown archway. Their beers have won many awards including their 3 time Ontario Brewing Awards winning Manhire Berliner Weisse (gold 2021, gold 2022, silver 2023).Spark started serving 'west centretown' pizzas in November of 2022 and now offer a variety of pizzas all served on house-made cold fermented dough with the best toppings we can find. This is one of the busiest restaurants in Ottawa but I was never willing to wait at the door for a table to be available since there are so many other restaurants around Lansdowne. However, I finally made a reservation to go and I see why the restaurant is so popular, even though prices are on the high side. Everyone at our table loved the food and the service was the best I’ve experienced in Ottawa for a while. Mia was so attentive. You have to try this place at least once.

Afternoon tea was fabulous and so beautifully presented! Had the best time with my aunt and 2 sisters for a joint birthday celebration. Accommodated my gluten free allergies so kindly and the special touches with the flowers 🌸 everywhere! Even on the tower. We will be back for Valentine’s Day!
