Restaurants near Mayfield Dobbs Museum

First time in Austin and first meal in and it was an amazing meal to start to our trip. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Accommodating outside even with not the best weather.

The ambiance was amazing. The staff was inviting & attentive, made us feel like we were at home. The food and dessert was *chefs kiss

The food was delicious, but this steak house is high end so very expensive. We knew going in it would be expensive. You do not get food that delicious without paying for it. We were celebrating our 30-year anniversary, and we wanted something out of the ordinary and that is exactly what we got. Everything was to our liking except it took a long time to get our food. Other than that, I still give my experience 5 stars.

We had such a good experience yesterday we went again today! Tried all new things today and they didn't disappoint! The cinnamon roll pancakes were delicious and the dressing on the greens that accompanied the omelette was so refreshing! We requested sitting in Angel's section again today and it was really neat that he remembered us and made good recommendations for today. Two of the three of us have been servers before and know how difficult it can be so we really appreciate great service--Angel scores a 10 out of 10 for GREAT service! Going to miss this place when we go home! Might need to take some biscuits and the butter flight home with me to eat on the plane! 🙂

We had not been back to Red Ash since before the Pandemic. Shame on us! Now we certainly will make a new reservation as soon as possible, which will probably be a few months from now. Red Ash is so popular that it is that difficult to get a table. But the wait is certainly worth it. This evening we tried the Octopus a la Plancha at our server, Emma's suggestion. Octopus for our first time. It was wonderfully delicious and tender. For dinner we split Frutti di Mare, a wonderful selection of seafood laid on a bed of the best black and white sphagettini. Cooked perfectly! Emma was the perfect hostess and we were able to reconnect with Brand Favata, our favorite server from six years ago. It seems that very few few employees leave Red Ash. It is such a wonderful restaurant!! We'll be back very soon.
