The Palazzo Della Gherardesca was unusual for its time in that its main interior space, the atrium, was originally designed as a secondary courtyard. For such a location and well known place the staff was very attentive and the service flowed throughout, from welcome fro g to final final limoncello. The meat was cooked as I requested (with no fuss) and was delicious. A great place to sit at the bar as well.
