Restaurants near Mandeville Tip County Park

I have zero complaints or suggestions. I took my wife here for valentines day and though we had to wait a little long for our reservation it was completely understandable due to the occasion. The food was incredible, delicious and the flavors were unique. Our server, J.T. was very attentive , and enthusiastic which is a rarity. We will be coming back as much as possible.

Steak wasn’t cooked to our request. My medium-rare was rare & my wife’s medium-well was medium-rare. Server, Kendra was super friendly and quick, but forgot stuff like our water. Nice restaurant but lighting was too bright. Didn’t “fit” ambience. If lighting was right, you can see water outside not reflection. I’m happy they renovated. It’s nice. Now, it’s time to elevate. One last thing - upgrade silverware. If you’re going to serve filet mignon, invest in steak knives. The silver ware you use are like my grandmas.

It was the perfect Valentines Day experience! A beautiful atmosphere, and they even had a small gift box at each place setting with a heart shaped macaron and fruit candy inside, wrapped with a red bow 🎁 The 3 course meal plus amuse-bouche was delightful. Every dish was creative, elegant and delicious. The manager even took a photo of us and printed a 4x6 photo for us to take home and remember the evening. Would highly recommend for a special occasion.

As always, an excellent meal. We were celebrating a birthday and had a great meal and service. Though our hostess eventually warmed up, she greeted us with what at best can be described as indifference. I know that, like receptionists, it’s a tough job to fill, but if you don’t feel welcome when you walk in the door, it doesn’t start the experience out right. As I said, she warmed up, and the rest of our service was imply superb.

We went in for my birthday dinner and had an excellent dinning experience. Our server was attentive and friendly and the food was tasty. I highly recommend Market Tavern for a great meal. Only critique would be that it can get a little noisy but overall a great place for dinner.
