Everything done right. Great oyster selection and quality. Fantastic shrimp cocktail. Crab cake was excellent. Octopus and Tuscan Kale also delicious. Service was responsive, knowledgeable, and friendly. One of the best seafood places from the standpoint of both food and ambience in a loaded category in our city.

Enjoyed the Valentine’s Day 3-course dinner for our anniversary. All courses were delicious! Lovely food based in Barcelona, Spain cuisine.

Great restaurant and steakhouse. Waited only 15 minutes to be seated after reservation time on Valentine's day. No waiting area or seating for customers. Valet was very congested. It was a great surprise that the valet cost was not as expensive as we expected which was good. Great surf and turf special last night. The food was excellent. No recognition that it was our anniversary and I was disappointed. Open table asked the occasion for the reservation and clearly stated anniversary. I think this was because it was intertwined with Valentine's day. Other than that, everything was great as far as the food.

If you’re having any reservations about this establishment please let this be the review that makes you go, it is absolutely fantastic the moment you sit down, our server was Jordan who was very well informed on the menu and knew just what to recommend. The in house soft rolls with the mustard herb butter set the tone and let us know we were in for a treat. We ordered the wagyu braised beef wontons to start and it was the best small bite I’ve ever had in my life, and I’m a bonafide food enthusiast. The soy truffle vinaigrette with the ginger, truffles, and shaved serranos was to die for I’ll definitely be back just for those. The steaks were both main characters, I had the 8oz strip and my Wife had the 8oz filet both cut and melted like butter in your mouth. We each got the blue cheese butter toppings, and I added an additional brandy peppercorn topper, the steaks did not need the toppers at all but what an elevated complex bite! For our a la carte sides we chose the roasted broccolini, white cheddar mac, and the smashed lime potatoes. All were a delight and held their own, but that broccolini was LIFE CHANGING! It was the perfect melody of smoky, spicy, and crunch the flavors were immaculate. This restaurant has easily catapulted to the top of our favorite steakhouses in Houston.

The service was impeccable—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making our evening special. The food? Absolutely phenomenal. The steaks were perfectly cooked and rich with flavor. Every dish, from the appetizers to the decadent desserts, showcased top-tier ingredients and masterful preparation. What truly sets Pappas Bros. apart, though, is the experience they create. This was the place where I proposed, and the staff went above and beyond to make the moment unforgettable. Their attention to detail and commitment to excellence made an already special night even more magical.
