- EEdSan Francisco Bay Area •6 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoAlways a great experience at "The Forge". Service is excellent, drinks are great, food is terrific, ambiance is wonderful. Highly recommend trying some of the appetizers as well as some of the signature cocktail drinks. The main courses are always wonderful - you don't make a mistake with any of them. It's also the only place where we always have dessert - they are creative and wonderful. Enjoy!More infoForge and VinePrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Groton•4.5
- NNancy ElizabethVIPGreater Boston •12 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 15, 2024We are always looking for a place for Sunday Brunch. In our area brunch is seasonal and during this visit it was the first Sunday brunch of ski season. We were so pleased they were open! The kitchen gave us an outstanding brunch - perfectly cooked eggs and steak, delicious hollandaise, lux salads and a special chocolate desert for my mom, turning 92. We celebrate her birthdays now with as many adventures and lovely food experiences as we can and Hermitage is first on the list. The staff and the owner of the Hermitage always make their guests feel special. We found the perfect bottle of wine in their extensive cellars and enjoyed our experience immensely. The snowfield view out the windows and the cozy atmosphere of the Tavern room provided us with the perfect place for a good old fashioned family catch up. Our waitress was just delightful and the owner opened our wine for us and chatted a bit. Thank you Hermitage. We will come back for brunch as long as you offer it this season. There is nothing that comes close in the area.More infoThe Hermitage InnPrice: Expensive• American• Dover•4.5

Food has always been phenomenal, the service has been excellent, and the restaurant is just overall our favorite by far. Our waitress the past 3 times has been Zoey and she is a wonderful host. Checks in on us routinely and a great representation of this restaurant. We plan on coming back for years to come. Thank you for the outstanding service and hospitality.More infoGranita EnotecaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Keene•4.8

This time I opted for just starters since there's so many wonderful selections and fun to have a variety of dishes. So delicious! Love the wine selection too and to make the night even more magical they brought a free dessert since it was my friend's birthday. Wow - gingerbread creme brulee - incredible! A wonderful gem of a restaurant in Brattleboro!More infoPlated Restaurant & BarPrice: Expensive• American• Brattleboro•4.6
