- JMJenaMLas Vegas •13 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoCocktails were first on the menu and were perfection. Followed by the NY Strip and Cheffy potatoes. Steak served on a bed of grilled onions with a nice char and spices was the highlight. A plus service and took some popovers to go. Date night success!More infoCARVE American Grille - Barton CreekPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• South Austin•4.8
- SSilviaAustin •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoAs we are ourselves from Spain and we know very much El Raval in Barcelona,we wanted give it a try. Not disappointed,we liked the food (the bravas were just like home)and the rest very Spanish inspired, overall tasty food. Also they have vermut;)! The staff was friendly and polite and the ambiance in a Saturday lively and yes, loud! I also like the decor it made us remember our beloved city. We will come back ,for sure!More infoEl RavalPrice: Expensive• Spanish• South Austin•4.7
- BBrandiAustin •2 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 16, 2024Cafe Malta is a gem of a neighborhood restaurant. The red snapper special they served last night was stunningly delicious. I also get the muscles most times I dine there. That broth and the tomatoes. Chef's kiss!!More infoCafe MaltaPrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• South Austin•4.4
- PPatriciaVancouver / British Columbia •10 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 15, 2024We were drawn back by the menu descriptions in the February newletter and so started with the La Catrina Negra drink. The marigold flower powder was a very fun addition. The Queso appetizer was wrapped in hoja santa leaves that our server told us were grown in Chef Iliana’s own garden. The Estofado Istmeno was also delicious. The crowning touch was the Tamal de Chocolate with orange blossom ice cream. We like the ice cream so much we ordered an extra bowl. Can’t wait to see the next newsletter to see what we’ll be ordering during our next visit.More infoEl Naranjo - South LamarPrice: Expensive• Traditional Mexican• South Austin•4.9
