- JJohnGreater Boston •22 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoBar George is located in a historic building in downtown Montreal. The food, service and ambiance were impeccable. We went for brunch and were excited to taste several of the French inspired offerings that were available to us. I had a delicious French lobster omelette, potatoes and frogs legs on the side. My wife had a breakfast pastry platter with a scrambled egg on the side. Our server was very attentive and made sure we were totally satisfied with our meal which was wonderful. I highly recommend Bar George.More infoBar GeorgePrice: Expensive• British• Downtown•4.6

The whole staff was so kind and welcoming, (a special shout out to Daniel and the new manager for arranging a little tour of the site for us as we were very interested in the history behind the building and how the restoration came about)! It was so impressive! The food was incredible and the drinks were delicious! I can’t recommend this place enough!More infoLe 9e - Restaurant Ile de FrancePrice: Expensive• French• Downtown•4.5

- MmichaelNew York City •17 reviews4.0Dined on Oct 18, 2024Bungalow has essentially a classic bistro menu with some updates. Fried calamari with salad was an excellent appetizer for two people to share. It seemed fresh and well-prepared. Mains of steak (cooked exactly as requested) and navarin d'agneau (underseasoned) were perfectly fine withoug being at all distinctive. In short, exactly what I usually want from a bistro: a predictable meal of good quality ingredients, classically prepared with no surprises. On the night we were there, it was not at all crowded, so noise level was fine. But we could easily hear the conversation of a table at the other end of the restaurant, so I imagine it might be noisy when full.More infoRestaurant BungalowPrice: Expensive• Market Cuisine• Plateau Mont-Royal•4.6
