There was actually seafood in their seafood chowder. All of our food and drinks were superb! We enjoyed great service and the recently rebuilt restaurant was beautiful with amazing Holiday decorations. The fireplace in our room made the ambiance complete. It was a five star experience.

1833 bar and restaurant in the Aurora Inn. We had the NY Strip and Halibut entrees. Excellent. Their fries are fantastic. Our dessert was a cranberry/ blueberry crisp with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Blew us away! Service was impeccable!! We will be back!

The bar was a little noisy so we asked for a table upstairs, non-issue moved us to a very quiet table. The waitress was excellent ( Margaret)! The food, blackened salmon melted in my mouth. My wife very much enjoyed her red and white chicken Parmesan that was very tender. We felt the prices were reasonable for the quality.

Second time we had lunch here and experience was not as good as first time. My food just ok (sandwich bread so dry it crumbled) and service was slow.

Great service. Friendly staff. My wife’s pork was overcooked. My ribeye was perfect. Would definitely recommend it.
