Restaurants near Launiupoko Beach Park

Honu has become our favorite dining spot on our repeated trips. It is an elegant, upscale, fun dining spot right on the water. The drinks are creative, the food is always delicious and flavor packed, and the service is top-notch. They boast an eclectic international wine list with many great options by the glass (try the Sancerre. It’s sublime!). Each time we go, we say we are not going to order the octopus appetizer this time because we want to try something new, but we just can’t help ourselves - it’s that good!

Our second time this trip. Excellent service by Becca. Food was great and service was efficient. While it may not seem like all that on the menu, the homemade focaccia and thai chili water is amazing! We had casual food but it was great. The pork sandwich and burger were full of flavor and fresh ingredients.

We enjoyed our meals. Prompt friendly service. Reasonable prices. Has multiple options of nonalcoholic beverages. I had a veggie bowl. Added the mahi which was a large delicious portion.

Mala Ocean Tavern is one of my favorite restaurants while visiting Maui. The vibe is great, the food is creative and outstanding! Drinks were great, the Mai tai is perfection. My favorite appetizer is the ahi bruschetta, undeniably delicious! We shared the scallops and risotto entree and it was excellent! Topping the whole experience off was excellent service my our waiter, Joe…. And the absolutely beautiful and undoubtedly memorable sunset views of Lahaina harbor. Another truly amazing dining experience at Mala Ocean Tavern!

Superb service, great cocktails and mocktails. This is a beautiful restaurant, our first time to this site. Each dish was exquisitely prepared and so delicious. Hard to decide which was the best, so just order as much as you can! Thanks for a lovely evening.
