- BBrandonNew Orleans / Louisiana •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoDon’t let the location above BB King’s blues bar fool you into thinking that this is anything other than a top notch gem of a restaurant right on Beale St. It feels elegant and comfortable at once. Lovely, romantic blue lit windows. Pleasant live piano music (maybe slightly prominent, but I enjoyed it). Intimate small dining rooms are available- I assume for an up charge. The larger of these rooms overlooks Blues City Cafe. The Cajun pasta was blissful. The jumbo shrimp were perfectly cooked and amazingly fresh tasting. My date had the lamb chops and left no meat on the bones. :-). Flight is one of my Memphis favorites, but Itta Bena is right there with it. Love it!More infoItta BenaPrice: Expensive• Contemporary Southern• Downtown•4.8
