Ida Claire is a funky, southern influenced restaurant & bar open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is notched up southern but has influences from different regions. You’ll most likely see dishes you’ve heard of before but with little twists here and there. Our sandwiches will be served on biscuits & we’ll have chicken & waffles on every menu. Brunch is obviously southern & will be a big part of what we do. The drinks are takes on classics like the Mint Julep but revved up & including a lot of house made ingredients. The décor has a southern influence with antebellum charm & elegant polish, stated most clearly in our reworked air stream trailer parked in the garden for VIP reservations.     Our first time dining at CraftWay was on Christmas Eve. So many other places were closed, so we took a chance on CraftWay. From the moment we entered the restaurant, we knew we'd made a good choice. The restaurant is cozy, with nice lighting and warm woods. Everything on the menu looked fantastic. It was truly hard to decide. A couple of items weren't available...skinny fries and beef wellington...but we'll chalk that up to being Christmas Eve. The entrees we ordered were delicious. Great cocktail and wine menu. The service was attentive and friendly. Prices were on the high side, especially for the non-sandwich entrees, but the food was of excellent quality. We'll be back, for sure.
