I wish I could give this place 6 stars. It was amazing!! We had 3 sushi rolls, sizzling steak, chicken katsu carbonara, the sashimi platter and the crusted Mahi. Everything was incredible. The service was wonderful, Our server Malia was so kind and attentive. The atmosphere of the restaurant was perfect. I highly highly recommend!!

Service was great as was the food! I highly recommend the Fish Hopper, Kona, HI. Parking can be a bit challenging, so give yourself some extra time to find a paring spot. Reservations are a must…it’s a very popular restaurant and you might be able to walk in, but much easier and relaxing with a reservation. If you need handicapped parking or wheelchair entry, there’s only one spot near the back door. The ramp into the restaurant is perfect…especially if you get lucky to get the one spot. Hope you get the opportunity to experience the food, ambience and view! Aloha!

Our fam of 4 requested outside seating and expectation was met. Service was impeccable! We were always promptly served and checked on — questions were happily answered and added info given without inquiry! IAN was too notch! Manager also came over to introduce himself and check on our contentment with meal. Food was delicious. Loved the Kampachi done warayaki style. The corn ribs are a must! The Nikko cocktail drink was delicious and refreshing. The Goose dirty martinis gave option for blue cheese olives and it was off the hook! Coffee Semifreddo was like nothing we’d tried and with the banana side flavor …made it a must! Cost here is $$$$$ but if you’re looking for a memorable and special dining experience while on Island— this fits the bill!

Surprisingly good fish and lovely views with excellent service. Looked like a tourist trap but was super glad we went.

Brunch buffet was delicious. We will definitely be back the next time we visit!
