- EElizabethLondon •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoA 2nd time having dinner at The Riverside at Aymestrey, this time taking my Mother and father for a Christmas dinner. From start to finish, this place is exceptional. We received a friendly welcome, all the staff are attentive and the whole ambience is warm and inviting. We sat in the lower dining room and the food was absolutely excellent and fantastic value. The restaurant was accomodating to our requests prior to arrival and we had a wonderful time. We enjoyed sitting by the fireplace to have coffee afterwards. I think this is a new family favourite!! Thank you to all the staff who made our Christmas dinner so special.More infoThe Riverside at AymestreyPrice: Expensive• British• Leominster•4.8

Staff were polite, attentive and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is reasonably priced and freshly cooked with a good choice of a continental on top.More infoAberdunant HallPrice: Expensive• British• Porthmadog•4.9
- AAndrewYorkshire •1 review4.0Dined on Nov 29, 2024We planned a weekend break in Dolgellau and Y Sospan was booked two weeks before the trip. We last ate there in September 2023 so being keen to visit again is a strong recommendation. We both wanted the lamb shank and it was outstanding in quality and quantity. It's a really interesting building, the service was excellent, the whole experience just what we hoped for. We did, in fact, return for lunch, without booking, on Saturday as we were keen to give the Cafe Menu a try. It'll be on our wish list anytime we are in North Wales and want a decent meal.More infoY Sospan, Queen's Square, Dolgellau, UKPrice: Moderate• Bistro• Dolgellau•4.4
