The wagyu carpaccio was still delicious; however they changed the slices to wider and 6 slices only instead of the thinner 10 slices. The special week Japanese menu snow crab toast was kind of weird and had only wasabi taste to it. Cesar salad was great, bone marrow was on the spot. T bone steak was done just right. The only issue was that our table was close to the neighboring table which was a tad too close.More infoCowboy StarPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown•4.8

Best brussels sprouts I’ve ever had. Amazing wait staff and bartenders. Great service whether sitting at the bar or in the dining room. Make reservations because you’ll never walk in and get a table, although I have had success as a walk in for dinner at the bar.More infoThe Henry - CoronadoPrice: Moderate• American• Coronado•4.8
- DDavidVIPSan Diego •4 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoCallie is one of, if not the, best restaurants in San Diego. Fine dining has shifted post-COVID but Callie does everything at a consistently high level. The food is interesting, layered, often surprising, and delicious. Wine and cocktails are similarly high quality and creative. Service is outstanding. Now this is what you would expect for a restaurant probably averaging $150 per person but, if you love restaurants, you know you can pay that price in San Diego and not have a satisfying experience. My wife and I ate at Callie recently for our anniversary. Staff had a handwritten card for us thanking us for celebrating at their restaurant. It's the extra, above-and-beyond that makes Callie great.More infoCallie RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• Mediterranean• Downtown•4.8
