The year was 1943, and Jim and Alice Wimmer decided to take a big risk, buying a small existing roadside restaurant known for its char-broiled steaks.     Cheese curds. Burgers, shakes and s’mores. Stick to these top 4 and you’ll be happy! My daughter liked her Avocado BLT (hold the bacon) and cheese curd burger and patty melt on point. Fries were the best out of the tots and the chips our group had. Yes, pricey on the drinks and apps side but it’s sold and a dependable experience the kids look forward to yearly especially the shakes and s’mores

    This is our second Christmas Brunch at the Charmant. I chose this restaurant again as I was so impressed with last year’s Christmas Brunch. I believe the menu was the same this year but my wife and I tried different items. We enjoyed our time again and will probably make it again next year. The cornmeal pancakes were delicious! I had a side of ham which left me wanting more! My wife had the Charmant Breakfast with sausage links. She was very pleased with the scrambled eggs, sausage links and GF toast. I couldn’t finish my corn meal pancakes so took the remainder home. I’m not as big of an eater as I once was. The two pancakes for me were quite filling.
