We had family come to town and we thought Hayden Block would be a great place to take them as they love barbecue. The ambiance in the back with the fireplace is fantastic. It was great that my 16 year old nephew was able to enjoy the spot as they allow minors until 8:00 pm. The service was fantastic and the food delicious. The brisket was very tender. All of the sides were excellent. If you are a whiskey drinker they have an incredible selection which is half off during happy hour 3:00 - 6:00 pm Monday - Friday.

We really loved what we ordered: Caprese salad, Arancini, Veal Tortenelli and the Crudo (pizza with panceta). I had been coming to this place for personal and organization events and they had been consistently amazing. It was my gf's first time and she was impressed as well. Our server was excellent. She is the calm in a hectic surroundings (it was Valentine's when we were there). We always sat together so she moved all of the utensils on the opposite side for me.

Showed up early and was welcomed, seated and served first drink, coconut margaritas within minutes. Husband and wife establishment and you could feel the family type atmosphere. It’s a place that you go once and then it will be your go to from then on. Great location.

Came for omakase, food quality was amazing with a large selection of items that are not available at your average sushi shop. Informative and intimate experience with the chef. One thing to keep in mind is that due to Alberta health regulations, majority of the dishes are prepared in the kitchen and then finished in front of guests by the chef. It is expensive and way more than I would normally spend at a sushi restaurant but in my opinion well worth it for the experience, quality and ambiance. Pacing of the meal was very good and overall lasted about 1:30-1:45.

Valentines’s day was the first time and a while since my wife and planned a dinner or any type of outing in general. With two kids, a three year old and a six month old, free time is a rarity, dare I say a luxury. We mustered our courage and committed to going out in the frigid weather. Seeing the little one is currently breastfeeding, my wife wanted her to stay with us in any of our future outings. After making dinner plans and babysitting with my family for our son, we found ourselves running fashionably late. We proceeded to make our way there nonetheless hoping that there would be some clemency on our behalf. Sure enough, even after arriving an hour late, the two young ladies a the front inquired as to what can be done. The manager for the evening came and moved some things around and managed our expectations saying that we would be moving to a a table which has an appointment in an hour and 15 mins which was greatly appreciated! From the food to the customer service, the standard was to our expectation. The crew on service for the evening ran a tight ship and made the evening look flawless. The manager, what can I say, she had nerves of Steele coordinating such a busy evening. We will definitely come back, this time alone, to fully appreciate such an establishment! Well done to all
