Great food only negative was the pasta was dry. The wings and onion soup was spot on. Great time and very friendly staff Thank you !

This is a new Steak & Bourbon (1 month) on 4th St. We went here for my wife’s birthday. Everything about our experience was great. The staff is friendly, attentive, and professional. The ambiance was good. We sat at a table next to the bar area (nice lounge setup by the bar with couches and overstuffed chairs). My only complaint would be that the saxophone player was too loud. Next time I would ask for a table farther from the bar. The food was delicious. I had the S&B salad, ribeye steak and Brussels sprouts. All were great. My wife had the lobster bisque, steak trio and Mac & cheese. She also totally enjoyed it. I have to make mention of the complimentary dinner rolls. They were warm and fluffy and served with a beef tallow candle (seriously!). Fantastic! Will definitely be back next time we are visiting Louisville.

The sauces on the ravioli and the fish were absolutely outstanding. I had the ravioli, my wife had the fish. Best pasta I have ever had and that ncludes throughout northern Italy. The tiramisu had a chocolate gnache and was superb. I expected a good meal. What I got instead was a great one. Now let’s talk about the staff….the waiter was very attentive and skilled at creating warm dishes that were finished at the table. The owner? Manager came by and when he heard how much I loved the meal, brought out the chef . The chef even shared a couple of secrets that will improve my own sauces at home. What a great place. If you are ever in Louisville for dinner, do the place.

Bob's food is always the Best. We've been going to Bob's for years. This was the first time they never offered us a dessert for our Anniversary. Not that we even wanted one, but it was always nice when they acknowledged it. Maybe that has changed.
