- JJamesVIPNew York City •16 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoCelebrating our anniversary and glad we chose Poached Pear. We ordered the octopus appetizer to share and it came with grilled shrimp. I was delicious. My wife ordered the halibut and I had the Ahi tuna with soba noodles. The portions were generous and the food was cooked to perfection. We both enjoyed our meals and actually left with some to take home. It is BYOB, so we enjoyed the wine we bought with our meals. We were full from our dinners, so just ordered cappuccino and a coffee. The waitress brought over a complimentary vanilla gelato with a candle for our anniversary. O Ive a nice experience.More infoPoached Pear BistroPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Point Pleasant Beach•4.9
