Just a few steps from the hustle and bustle of Yonge and Bloor, Bumpkin’s has been a local landmark since 1971, serving the very best in French continental cuisine with an old world Parisian feel. The newly updated two-story Victorian house has a handsomely sophisticated interior, featuring two fireplaces and a set of crystal chandeliers, that once graced the interior of the Royal York Hotel, and beautiful pieces of art throughout the restaurant. During the spring and summer months, Bumpkins offers an outdoor dining experience on their terrace, complete with a view of Norman Jewison parkette. Distinct to the menu is a selection of masterfully conceived dishes ranging from the baked garlic butter escargot bourguignon to veal chop with mushrooms to the steamed fresh P.E.I mussels.     Beautiful old home with upstairs and downstairs seating. We sat upstairs and the decor was gorgeous with great music in the background. The service was impeccable and the food was to match. A very enjoyable experience.

    We have eaten at a few different Kegs around Ontario. None can compare to this experience! Not only was the food great, staff very friendly and knowledgeable but the ambience and all over experience and history of this historical building make it EXCELLENT. There is free parking for those that eat here...not just in front but all around the building as well. You have to attend here at least once to experience this place. We will return for sure!

    Bumpkins was a great restaurant. We were seeing a show after dinner and they made sure that our dinner was done in time for us to make it to the show with time to spare. The food was great and the value was wonderful. I would highly recommend this restaurant!
