Established in 1959, owners Jenny Youll and Mike Sabina expanded the once small coffeehouse of St. Michaels Alley into this intimate dining establishment in 2009. The restaurant provides three comfortable spaces for a dinner out with friends, date night, or a complete private event. The main dining room is wood paneled and intimate. The front room / bar area is more casual and social, yet still offers tables with linens and the full menu. The solid wood bar is a favorite dining spot for many of the regulars and locals. A beautiful outdoor patio is most enjoyable on warm summer days and nights as it open to the sky.     What a good dinner experience! The food, the ambiance, service -everything. The host was very warm and welcoming which actually kick-starts your dinner experience on a good note. Everything we tried on the menu was delicious and so flavorful. Their lamb is really out of this world. Wine list (bottle and by the glass) is big and spans a range of $$ which gives options. Desserts were great too and different than what we’ve tried (same type). It’s a bit on the expansive side. Overall, an amazing dinner experience and will def go back again.

    Great food, excellent and served hot. Imaginative tapas, very nice combo of fried and fresh. All nicely flavored. The squid ink risotto was excellent, good combo. The waiter was very accommodating with our group size. Interesting sangrias, would recommend. Too noisy for conversation!

    Nice cozy restaurant with nice atmosphere. The food was great and the service too. Just a little loud from boisterous folks at neighboring tables. But still romantic and fun at the same time.
