- KKierstenHouston •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoI cannot recommend this place enough! My husband and I went last night to celebrate our anniversary and everyone was so nice and welcoming. When we walked in, you would think the place would be really loud because of the high ceilings, hard floors, and how many people are seated close together, but we could hear each other really well. The design of the restaurant was done very intentionally with so many soft surfaces, fabric chairs, large curtains, large linen lanterns—so many things to absorb sound. I wasn’t to loud at all. I chose Jonathan’s the Rub specifically for the drink menu. They have so many great options, but I loved that they had my favorite, Paper Plane. Phenomenal! The food was *chef’s kiss* 🤌 we both got steaks, me the filet and my husband the NY strip, both perfectly cooked and flavored. Their fries are unique, with a savory herb seasoning and balances nicely with a sauce they recommend (can’t remember what is was called). The crème brûlée , also my favorite, was amazing and perfect for sharing. And they so sweetly gave us 2 glasses of Prosecco on the house for our anniversary along with a card. The service and the ambience can make or break a restaurant experience in this place was amazing. Like I said, everyone was so welcoming. Our server, Luis, was so sweet and attentive. The event coordinator came and spoke to us and he was wonderful. (I hate that I can’t remember his name, but he was so stylish and funny, we could have talked to him all night!) Thank you so much for making our anniversary so special and I can’t wait to go back!More infoJonathan's the Rub at Memorial GreenPrice: Expensive• American• Westside•4.8
- LLatoyaHouston •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoService was outstanding from the time we walked in the door being greeted, as we waited for our party to arrive, the bartender downstairs, when our party was welcomed again, getting off the elevator and seated at our table, and our waitress checked on us, the food was sooo good, and the presentation simply amazing will be going backMore infoHaywire - Memorial CityPrice: Expensive• American• Westside•4.5
- OTOpenTable DinerHouston •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoPerry's has excellent food and perfect staff; there is no better steakhouse in Houston. The hostess had our reservation quickly and seated us promptly in a comfortable table. They even made our table special with rose petals for our anniversary. The food was delicious and we had a quiet relaxed meal to celebrate.More infoPerry's Steakhouse & Grille - Memorial CityPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Westside•4.6
- MMichaelHouston •34 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 3, 2025The food was excellent. I had the salmon; 2 of us had the hangar steak; and one had the snapper. Everyone was very happy with the food. The setting and ambiance is like that of a country club with the tasteful wood paneling. The tables are far apart so it was easy to hear each other talk. Each table has recessed lighting directly above it so. it is easy to read the menu and the bill. The prices for the food are reasonable, but my only criticism is that the drinks are overpriced. They charged $14 for my vodka and soda and $18 for my wife's cosmopolitan. I could barely taste and vodka (Ketel One) in my drink. All their drinks are half price during their happy hour (before 5:30), so the bartender must have thought he was pouring happy hour drinks (with less alcohol) when he poured ours at 6:00.More infoRelish Restaurant & Bar - Town and CountryPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Westside•4.8
