Restaurants near Hatley Park National Historic Site

I have been to Boom and Batten numerous times, find it can be really good or a miss. Our dinner this evening was amazing. Our server was attentive and helpful. The food was delicious. We had the meatballs, gnocchi and the pappardelle duck pasta. We will be back.

We absolutely loved our bd celebration! Upon arrival, the staff had a very thoughtful bd card waiting as well. Service, food, ambiance were all amazing! Such a beautiful place to eat great food. Thank you again to all for making our double bd so special! We will be back!

Our party of six was served by one wonderful server, Alexis, who, we discovered later, was looking after the entire restaurant single-handedly. We were absolutely blown away. She was efficient, lovely, responsive, and always back in just the right amount of time. She never let us feel neglected or wanting. Her intuition for always providing just what was needed at the right moment was astounding. The food was absolutely delicious and everybody enjoyed all their dishes. It really was a very special meal in a very special location.

No better way to celebrate a special occasion or a winter afternoon having a Pedray tea! A lovely spread of sweet and savory, beautifully presented on the table. You really feel like you've stepped back in time. The historic home was beautifully decorated for Christmas inside and out!
