I highly recommend a reservation in advance to make sure you get a table at a good time. It was pretty crowded, and we waited for our reserved table for a couple of minutes, but it did not take long at all. The server we had was very attentive and knowledgeable about drinks and the menu. We both ultimately did the treatment with all seafood including both cooked and raw, but they can cater it based on needs, allergies, etc. Typically you can get 6-8 dishes, and we got 7 in all, so we were definitely full. The food was delicious, and our favorite the seared tuna! Highly recommend this place for special dates, dinners, or even a solo self care daye for yourself. It'll be a treat!More infoFin & Fino - Uptown CharlottePrice: Expensive• Seafood• Uptown•4.8

From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the stage for an unforgettable meal. The star of the evening, besides the perfectly cooked steak, was our server, Jertha. She was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. She made excellent recommendations and ensured that every detail of our meal was perfect. Her hospitality truly elevated the experience, making us feel welcomed and well taken care of. As for the food, it was top-notch. The steak was cooked to perfection, juicy, and full of flavor. The sides were equally impressive, and the desserts were the perfect way to end an amazing meal. If you’re looking for an outstanding steakhouse with phenomenal service, Dean’s is the place to go. Ask for Jertha—she will make your experience even better! I’ll definitely be returning.More infoDean's Italian SteakhousePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Uptown•4.6
- SScottRaleigh / Durham / Chapel Hill •7 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoA truly great French restaurant, with excellent dishes and outstanding service. Dishes tried. Every one was outstanding: oysters, escargot, sea bass, duck confit, hanger steak, creme brûlée. Steak frites with hanger steak and Bearnaise sauce was cooked to perfection medium-rare. Duck confit with melted leeks and banyuls jus was terrific, and I make duck confit regularly. The restaurant has to be one of the most beautiful in the city with high-ceilings and decor that makes you feel you are in Paris. Service was as good as the food. The bartenders, server, and service/FOH manager went out of the way to accommodate a couple of requests.More infoLa Belle HelenePrice: Expensive• French• Uptown•4.6

The bruschetta was fantastic, but would have been spectacular if the bread had been fully toasted. Mushy on the bottom. The tomatoes on it were spectacular as was the olive oil powder. We had a good, crisp Cesar salad and shared the Cacio Pepe. We thought the sauce was perfect. Light and peppery but not stodgy. We didn’t care for the pasta, which was more like a heavy gnocchi. So much so that we asked if we had gotten the dish we ordered. Loved the feel of the place. The lights and open kitchen were fun. A big comfortable booths were nice. The wine pours were exceptional and the prices excellent. Very good value. Not noisy and very enjoyable. Definitely worth the trip!More infoAngeline'sPrice: Expensive• Italian• Uptown•4.5

The atmosphere was beautiful, creating a warm and inviting experience. Our server, Rebecca, was absolutely phenomenal—attentive, friendly, and eager to make our evening special. She even took pictures for us and provided excellent food and drink recommendations. Even on a quieter Tuesday evening, the service was top-notch. I can’t wait to come back and try their brunch!More infoMariposaPrice: Expensive• Tapas / Small Plates• Uptown•4.5
