- DDanCumbria •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 25, 2024We had really nice Christmas lunch. Food was great, as were the staff. Also a good atmosphere, with music and everyone smiling and enjoying themselves. Hadn't been before, so will be good to go back when it's warmer and have a look around the marina at the same time.More infoThe Boathouse | Bar & RestaurantPrice: Moderate• British• Windermere•4.1
- AAnnelisaLondon •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 23, 2024We both had steak and a glass of red wine for supper. Both were delicious - the prime cut steak cooked to perfection and there is a thoughtfully chosen range of wines. Breakfast was equally good - a pleasing range of options. The staff are delightful and the service is second to none.More infoThe Ivy House RestaurantPrice: Moderate• British• Keswick•4.5
- AAnnNewcastle and Northumberland •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 15, 2024We both chose the set menu. 3 courses with good options was excellent value for money. The prawn cocktail was particularly good. The highlight was the sticky toffee dessert which I can honestly say is the best I have ever had. Choices for the main course were not overly exciting but beautifully presented. I opted for the haddock served in a cheese sauce which I enjoyed. The service was excellent, friendly but non intrusive. The dining room was full yet we were served promptly and made to feel welcome. The dining room itself is a special treat overlooking the lake.More infoThe Lakeview Restaurant at Macdonald Old England HotelPrice: Expensive• British• Windermere•4.3
