- JJayNew Jersey •29 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe dined at Samdan to celebrate my wife's birthday. Everything was wonderful from the time we arrived to our departure. We were greeted when we arrived and shown to a table. The menu is very broad, both in ingredients and in price. Our order was taken, water glasses were filled and wine was delivered. We did not take advantage of the ability to bring our own wine. We ordered a Shepards salad and some Babaghanoush … both were excellent. The time between courses was managed well. We waited a short time for our entree. We both ordered lamb shish which came with rice and slivered onion garnish. The lamb was very high quality and cooked to perfection. I had told the staff that it was my wife's birthday. We were given a very nice dessert with some candles. We've dined at Samdan in the past and have always been happy. This experience was just outstanding. My congratulations and thanks to the staff.More infoSamdanPrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• Cresskill•4.9
- RRichardNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoTerrific cocktails, attentive service (except, as seems prevalent everywhere, when it comes time to settle the tab - you’d think it’d be the opposite). Convenient ample parking. Ambiance not the greatest when there are loud customers adjacent, but I put that to “socio-economic entitlement”. (As an aside, one finds this entitlement when driving through Tenafly. Every 4-way stop is a ‘Thunderdome’ experience). Pricey but fine for a special occasion. Food’s not wow but flavorful and well prepared.More infoAxia TavernaPrice: Expensive• Greek• Tenafly•4.7
- AAlphonseVIPNew York City •20 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 15, 2024We have eaten here numerous times and do enjoy the food and it’s close to us. I had done a review during g the summer so don’t want to repeat my praise’s as I do really enjoy this restaurant but I am still disappointed in the quality of the bread and dipping sauces that are offered are way to salty! If you’re going to advertise as quality Italian style restaurant the first thing we see and taste is the bread ! Your amazing food offerings need to be acompanied by good , crunchy, delicious pane !!some quality dipping oils would be great too!!More infoLucio'sPrice: Expensive• Italian• Closter•4.7
