The Hind's Head is a traditional country village pub and restaurant serving freshly made food and quality local cask ales. We are a community owned and managed free house in a very picturesque Shropshire village. We have the more traditional areas of the pub with wood burning stoves, as well as a lovely restaurant and welcoming orangery for all our guests to enjoy food, drinks and good company. We offer two wine lists as well as a great selection of cask ales, lagers and ciders. The views from the front of the pub have a perfect picture post card view of St Chad's Church in the centre of the village. While we offer traditional pub classics like freshly made pies and fish and chips, we also regularly offer specials that our chefs create weekly and do a lovely Sunday roast dinner that is extremely popular. On Wednesday evenings we do different foods and events, please call to confirm the theme to ensure it's what your looking for it could be Tapas, Italian, a quiz night.

The Nag's Head is a quintessential English pub in a village called Haughton Moss, near Tarporley in rural Cheshire. It has been re-mixed and re-imagined by the people behind the multi-award winning Altrincham Market; Mackie Mayor, Manchester and Picturedrome, Macclesfield. The Nag's Head is a listed building that dates back to its origin as a Smithy in the 1740's, on the trade route connecting the ports of Liverpool and North Wales to the Potteries. At The Nag's Head sister venues we have earned a reputation for high quality food, delivered in beautiful buildings, served informally. The point? - to make eating out with family, with friends, with kids with dogs accessible, rewarding and part of your 'everyday'.Expect seasonal changes, kitchen co-labs with our sister venues, glamping, growing and outdoorsy stuff on our adjoining 4 acres in the not-too-distant future.

Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Roast almost as good as Mum's. We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times. My only slight criticism would be with the cheese & bubble and sqeak pie. As it had cabbage inside it it definitely needed serving with a different veg instead of more cabbage . As a vegetarian I love cabbage but I felt this needed something different to compliment the pie . Sweet potato would work great with it .

We have been to the Hinds Head 3 times now on 2 separate trips to the UK and intend to go back again tomorrow before we leave the UK. It is simply the most enjoyable dining experience we have had in the UK…period. We LOVE this pub. The staff is lovely. Everyone is kind, attentive and friendly. Walking in tonight was like seeing a group of old friends. The Pub is warm and welcoming. There are romantic tucked away corners with warm cozy wood burners in many of the dining areas. It is polished but not at all fussy. The food. The food! It is consistently fresh, expertly prepared and absolutely delicious. We have been to restaurants all over the UK and Ireland and the Hinds Head is the one we always want to come back to visit. This restaurant is by far my favorite place to visit. It is worth the drive. We will be visiting the UK again in the summer and we will make the trip to Norton-in-Hales to enjoy this lovely restaurant again.
