Moonstone Grill, a Trinidadian mainstay, serves fresh seafood and other classic American eats in its beautiful, beachside location. For starters, plates like the crab cakes with sriracha aioli and the lobster wontons with garlic cream make you realize how Moonstone Grill appreciates and respects the local produce and catch. Popular entrée items include the grilled angus ribeye with gorgonzola compound butter, the oven roasted game hen with mushrooms and the wild Alaskan halibut with curry pearl pasta. Moonstone Grill even has sumptuous options for vegans, such as the tempeh pot roast with fingerling potatoes and the wild mushroom ravioli. We are a casual fine dining restaurant serving California Cuisine in the form of a weekly 4 to 5 course tasting menu that emphasizes fresh, local, organic product. We boast a wine list with over 3,000 selections and have held a Wine Spectator Grand Award every year since 1998. Open Thursday through Sunday from 5:30pm-8:00pm. We also have a full bar open Daily from 4 to 8pm that offers its own à la carte menu Wednesday through Sunday.*All menu items subject to availability. $20 corkage fee applies per bottle. 20% gratuity for parties of 6 or more.

    Worth the price? Not really, but this is clearly the only game in town for fine-ish dining. Service was great--friendly and attentive. Good wine list, decent cocktails, and all our food ranged from pretty good to great.

    Everything was great, except the Fettuccine needed more garlic. Our waiter was fantastic and apologized for the salad being late, and didn’t charge us for one of our desserts. We are new to the area, and are so glad we found Gabriel’s-we will be back!!
