- MMichaelCumbria •6 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoI had the wild boar sausage hot sandwich, which was served with coleslaw and triple cooked chips. Generous number of sausages, which were cooked to perfection. The bread was fresh and tasty, the same with the coleslaw. The triple cooked chips were very hot on arrival, so I suggest you leave them for a while; the texture and taste were perfect. For dessert I tried the rice pudding with crumble topping, spiced apple and vanilla ice cream. Again, I couldn’t fault the texture and taste. My favourite part was the cinnamon in the apple puree. The young lady who served us was enthusiastic, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The building was warm without being hot, comfortable atmosphere and relaxing. No jarring music.More infoThe Rose & Crown at RomaldkirkPrice: Moderate• British• Barnard Castle•4.5
