- PPatrickDenver / Colorado •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 29, 2024Experience was great. Well worth the cost. Gondola ride was beautiful. Service was fantastic. Every person who we came into contact with was friendly. Prosecco toast and coat check was a nice touch. Food was very well done, great variety and good flavors. If I had to find a complaint it would be the temp of the food was a little lukewarm, but it was also 4 degrees out, and people weren’t closing the serving tray lids after they were done serving themselves, plus our table was as far away from the buffet area as you can get, so what heat the food had was lost by the time we got to the table. That being said….It’s a buffet with temp serving trays, not made to order food that is sent straight to your table. I don’t mind lukewarm food as long it’s fresh and flavorful, and it was. Turkey and ham were INCREDIBLE, and the stars of the show, as they should be. Moist, flavorful, hot and the carvers kept hooking my husband up with big ole steaks of meat after he told them he was a turkey fanatic, and talked to them and thanked them for a few minutes. Be nice to your servers y’all and they will reward you. Bread service with cranberry sauce was great. I swear I could eat several bowls of the cranberry sauce. That and the pumpkin pie tarts were the stars of the evening for me. The turkey and these 2, plus the biscotti were the stars for my husband. Lastly, the tableside affogato was yummy. Very good, although I would probably change it from cold brew to hot coffee or espresso. The cold brew on top of the gelato just made it kinda icy. Still good, but ice and then going back out into 4 degree weather was brrr.More infoThe Lodge at SunspotPrice: Very Expensive• American• Winter Park•4
- LLeeDenver / Colorado •9 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 29, 2024My wife and I dine at the White Buffalo Grille on many special occasions. We are always greeted warmly by Samantha and the wait staff. The food is always of the best quality and delicious. We were going to have the Thanksgiving dinner special, but it was just too much food. So, we each had the small prime rib after our lobster chowder. I had a side of roasted cauliflower, and she had a big baked potato. We will be dining there for our 62nd wedding anniversary on the 26th of December.More infoWhite Buffalo Grille @ The Lodge Casino (Must be 21+)Price: Expensive• American• Black Hawk•4

The food, service and ambiance at Deno’s is always the best!More infoDeno's Mountain BistroPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Winter Park•4.5
