- BBradChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoWe celebrated my wife’s birthday here last night and from the get go felt like we were taken care of. The hosts seemed sincere and cheerful wishing her a happy birthday, and that set the tone for the night feeling special. I’ve worked in service, and I know it’s not always easy to be festive on someone else’s behalf when tons of birthdays are celebrated every day, and the kindness of the staff stood out. Sandra took wonderful care of us, comped a dessert for the birthday and made sure we had everything we needed while giving us our time and space to enjoy the meal. We will be back!More infoAba - AustinPrice: Very Expensive• Mediterranean• East Austin•4.8

- DDebAustin •3 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWe recently enjoyed a nice brunch at Poeta, sitting outside on the back veranda. We had the gorgonzola antipasti served with crudites and grilled bread. I asked for the vegetables and my request was received warmly. We then decided to share the Chicken Milanese served with grilled endive and a delightful lemon sauce underneath. The service was excellent and our waiter recommended a nearby vintage bookshop. We highly recommend Poeta and plan to visit again for the evening menu.More infoPoetaPrice: Expensive• Italian• East Austin•4.6
- SSue IvetteDallas - Fort Worth •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 10, 2024Our waitress was very kind and recommended some amazing drinks based on what I would normally drink. I hate that I can’t remember her name but she was an excellent waitress. The food was great! Ambiance was wonderful! After dinner we stepped into the speakeasy and sat at the bar. I was very pressed with our bartender Trace. Made some excellent cocktails. I asked him what was his favorite drink to make and he explained what was in the drink and I was sold. He got everything together then reminded me that it was in fact a Gin cocktail and I was perfectly fine with it. The drink is called “Army , Navy” and it was delicious. I even ordered a second one. The music was great and would have loved to stay longer but I had to leave. Next time I’m definitely reserving a table at “Busy Signal” also! Highly recommend!More infoVictory East & Busy SignalPrice: Expensive• Southern• East Austin•4.3
