Terroni Adelaide, formerly the York County Courthouse, is a multi-level heritage structure built in 1852. Just inside the doors is the Enoteca with its towering columns, a great spot for cocktails. Beyond is the main dining room, with a sunlit atrium, fireplaces on each end and private rooms all serviced by an open kitchen where our chefs prepare traditional Italian fare.     Ardo was a BIG pleasant surprise. The items we chose on the menu were delicious. I tasted the tuna crudo which was exceptional and the ragu pasta which had fresh made pasta with the authentic beef taste. I finished with the homemade freshly piped cannoli with candied orange pieces. They were the perfect conclusion to a perfect meal. Portions were well balanced, didn`t feel like I wanted to roll out of my chair. The service was also top. Paula was our server and she explained to us in details what she was putting on the table, very professional. The restaurant was also relatively quiet even though it was at least half full which mean I could hear the conversation without having to get closer or not requiring to speak loud. Could be ideal for a business lunch. I will certainly be back.

    Excellent service and delicious food. Our server Scotlynn( hopefully correct spelling) was very friendly and knew her stuff. Her wine suggestions were spot on. Coffee was outstanding. Very busy lunch spot and got noisy but I find most restaurants very noisy. Not economical but what is these days. Overall a wonderful lunch for the 4 of us.
