- GGarrettNew York City •10 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoAfter reading very positive reviews from food critics, I was still skeptical about casino dining. But I know Chef Holman is dedicated to making great food and it appears management has given him the slack he needs to execute his vision. After a few recommendations from the staff, we settled on the Cioppino and the nightly special. Both were excellent and both were generous portions. We also started with the tuna crudo and sampled the flourless chocolate torte but, sadly, were too full to finish it. True to its moniker, the wine list is made up of primarily California wines. These tend to be very fruit-forward expressions and are generally higher in alcohol. If I could change anything, it would be to fill in some of the wine list with acid and mineral driven wines that complement the dishes. But I also understand that they want to stock wine people order frequently. The staff was great. Despite being very busy, they took time to explain dishes, make recommendations and even make jokes with me. Oh, and plan to spend a couple of hours. This is not a casual meal for people in a hurry.More infoBistro Napa - Atlantis Casino ResortPrice: Moderate• Californian• Reno•4.8
- DDaraSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe always have a wonderful time when we dine here. Our recent visit was no different. It’s always a calm and fairly quiet dining experience. Nothing too wild and crazy. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. The most impressive characteristic about the staff is if they don’t know the answer, well, they don’t make something up and guess. They actually say I’m not too sure but let me speak with my manager and get the answer for you. It’s refreshing. The food was delicious and perfect temp. The appetizers were fabulous. Everything was just perfect. You can never go wrong finishing the meal with the sticky toffee pudding. So scrumptious.More infoNevada SteakPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Reno•4.8
- IICELYNNChicago / Illinois •8 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoEverything was top notch from the moment we stepped in. Our server Jeremy was excellent; so friendly, outgoing, and had great recommendations. All support staff was outstanding as well. Ok now about the food...we started with the oysters...wow! They were from B.C. and were perhaps the creamiest, most buttery oysters we've ever had. They were not large oysters, but packed full of flavor and wonderful texture. We had the crispy eggplant as a side and we were so surprised by this dish. Unexpectedly amazing. Lightly battered small chunks...fried to delicate perfection! For our main dishes, we had the crispy salmon (crispy was an understatement...perfectly moist and tender with amazing crisp skin topper) and Chef Ramsey's specialty, Beef Wellington. As expected, it was perfection...literally melt in your mouth goodness. Highly recommend, this experience was fantastic!More infoRamsay’s Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay - Silver LegacyPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Reno•4.1
- JJohnTahoe / Reno Area •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoI enjoyed my meal and service was great.n In my opinion, its a little loud and hard to talk to your companions. I would recommend this restaurant for a quick dinner and going elsewhere for talking.More infoThe Twisted ForkPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Reno•4.7
