Restaurants near Fulford Golf Club

We visit York every year for my friend’s Birthday. We always choose somewhere different to dine. We will definitely return to Cut and Craft. We had a fabulous experience. We arrived 2 hours earlier than our booking as we were all shopped out and hungry! We were happy to have a drink and wait for our table. But Evie very kindly managed to find us a table straightaway. We had a fantastic table and were very relieved to settle ourselves in and get comfortable. The ambience was so warm and cosy. I felt happy straightaway. We both chose the signature steak and shared 3 side plates. It was absolutely divine. We couldn’t eat it quickly enough, it was so good. The dessert of peach mousse with sorbet and pieces of honeycomb was also to die for. I can honestly say I haven’t had food as good as this in a long time. Thank you Evie for looking after us and helping us have such a wonderful time!

We had a very relaxing breakfast. The waitress was especially cheerful and even gave us some of her marmalade!😋

Made very welcome on arrival. Was given time to peruse the extensive menu after our drink order had been taken. Two of our party had the Big Breakfast and it lived up to its name as well as being beautifully presented and well cooked. The other member had a vegetarian option and he enjoyed his meal too. No need for a dessert though the coffees were well received. Thank you to all concerned.

Best food ever at The Ivy this year on our annual Christmas shopping trip to York. We had such a lovely evening, it was all perfect.

Betty’s was as always a beautiful place for a treat of afternoon tea, the atmosphere is amazing, food was delicious, great value for money. We visited at 2pm we were not rushed to leave the table so had plenty of time to enjoy ourselves, and to top it all it left us feeling full for the rest of the day. Overall a thoroughly wonderful experience
