Hidden gem with flavorful seasonal menu. Small plates and large plate options. We split two small plates (cauliflower and crostini), a salad and one large plate (slow cooked ribs). Plenty of food and each dish fill off interesting flavors.

It's a must in Crystal Lake!...Quiet, friendly, excellent menu and presentation.. love the Martini glasses!😉

Food and wine were excellent. Service was exceptional. I had short rib risotto which was great. Brought friends from out of town for their first visit and they loved it. We will all be back.

This was a wonderful experience. From the time we walked in and was greeted by a smiling lady to the time we left, everyone made our time there a pleasant one. The ambiance was festive, the staff, everyone, was pleasant and engaged. The food, oh, the food! Delicious. We started with crab ragoon followed by Mongolian beef, sweet sour chicken and fried rice. We not only ate until we couldn't anymore but took home enough for two meals. All in all, we will definitely be returning If I could give more than 5 stars, I would give 10.

First time dining at Vine and Plate. Food was excellent and paired nicely with wine (they have a nice list). Service (Amber) was knowledgeable and enjoyable to have serve. We will go there again.
