Restaurants near Executive Mansion

Lovely setting and a very nice meal. We had the 3 course meal with wine and our party of 4 loved it. Calamari to sautéed veal to tiramisu and coconut cake - everything was delicious and our waiter - Enzo- was fabulous.

Always a great dining experience! Our server, Israel was excellent. John, the owner stopped by to say hello which is always impressive! We were celebrating an anniversary, and it’s always neat to receive a call from Arleen to be sure that our special event is celebrated at the restaurant. 

The service from door to table was excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed my food however, some of our party did not receive what they had expected. Our waiter went above and beyond to make this special occasion even more special. I was pleasantly surprised that the restaurant called twice to confirm the reservation, which really assured me because I was traveling from another state for the dinner. My only complaint was the menu was a bit limited and I would have liked more chicken options. I really wanted to try the chicken dish, but and not able to eat ham. I selected the veggie lasagna and loved it! I will definitely be back to the restaurant the next time I’m in Richmond.

Service was great. Loved the "porch" area. I was disappointed that the breakfast potatoes weren't gluten free. They are listed as such on the menu, but they are fried in a shared fryer, so they are not gluten free. I ordered the grits instead, which tasted really weird. I couldn't pinpoint the spice they used. Just stick with salt and butter.

Great food and service. Beautiful location. Will definitely return for another visit.
