Excellent food. Service was lovely. Will be back

We were staying in the main city center of Liverpool but decided to walk down to Wreck, just about a 10-15 minute walk. We sat downstairs in the corner, which was quiet but nice for just the two of us. We shared the beetroot and blue cheese arancini which was unusual but amazing. For mains, we both had fish - for me the sea bream and for my wife the halibut. Both were excellent as were the desserts and service. I’d recommend going for a very nice dining experience.

First visit - This place is absolutely amazing. Food is great, staff very friendly. We will definitely be returning. Each bite made us want to come back. Lucky enough my Girlfriend rolled a 6. So it was free too! (So yes the ‘roll a 6 on the dice between 12-5 min-fri) deal is real!!!!!! Thank you RED DOG - see you again soon!

The recent refurbishment has done its job superbly. The new decor creates a really cosy and welcoming space and the background music and elegant lighting create a lovely ambience. My wife and I dined early evening mid-week and had requested a cosy table for two, so we were delighted to be given one of the really comfortable window alcoves usually allocated for 4 diners. We chose two small plates each together with side dishes from the Prix Fixe menu and accompanied these with a bottle of house white wine. All absolutely delicious. We will definitely be making a return visit soon.

Easy mid week meal, was very quiet, but suited us for a catch up pre conference. Nothing special but nothing bad.
