The rump steak was really good and the oysters were unreal! Ambiance is very cozy and the staff were exceptional especially Tj and Joanna! It is a bit expensive especially the cocktails or wines, but you get what you pay for. Great for celebrations!

After looking on google to find somewhere to have pizza with my wife I found this restaurant I really do not regret choosing here. The atmosphere was lovely, the service was incredible and the food was outstanding. The service was speedy and so was the wait time for food. all the staff were so kind and attentive it genuinely made the experience all the more enjoyable. when i next find myself in Edinburgh again I will defiantly be returning.

A lukewarm reception as I don’t think the gentleman who booked us in and took our menus uttered a single world to us when we arrived. He just collected the menus from their storage shelf and headed for the table. Not to worry though as (spoiler alert!) the food was excellent! It’s also fair to say he warmed up once we were seated and looked after us well. Overall I’d say this was a very enjoyable evening. We went for the Festive Set Menu which is terrific value! The portion sizes were generous too. My wife’s turkey was thick, juicy and flavourful and my Flat Iron Steak was perfect. A five star experience, just a pity about the blasé welcome.
