The Palazzo Della Gherardesca was unusual for its time in that its main interior space, the atrium, was originally designed as a secondary courtyard.     After looking for a decent roof top bar, the angel bar popped up in the search. The reviews were excellent so we decided to give it a go. This was our last night in Florence, we decided to go have a couple of drinks prior to dinner. The place didn’t disappoint, the views across palazzo vecchio and Florence are incredible. The ambience of this place is very relaxing, so much so we ended up just sipping cocktails and ordering apertivos. Highly recommend. Thanks Emma for making it enjoyable.

    Bar & wine selection as well as recommendations outstanding! Food excellent. Crown Royal would expand a nice selection. One complaint I was embarrassed at check out my AMEX was refused! A year ago at my last visit to Florence no issues but had to have a customer pay unacceptable! That will prevent future return without change. Otherwise very satisfied customer! Ken B.
