Service was exceptional. I ordered a filet mignon wrapped with bacon but the bacon was burnt so caused the entire steak to taste like charcoal and although i had ordered a medium rare, the meat was dry. My fiancee had ordered a filet mignon with garlic and it was perfect. The mac and cheese was just average but the lobster bisque was good.

The atmosphere was full of energy and we loved the lights. Our server Rebecca was so great! She was attentive and answered all our questions and made excellent suggestions. Food was delicious and cooked to perfection. I had Steak Frites and is can with a choice of all of these rich sauces, so gooood! Manager stopped by the table took. It was just a really great dining experience. Highly recommended!

Thank you for yet another amazing dining experience at Rio. I brought my family this evening for our Christmas celebration. We may have started a new tradition. We enjoyed every moment, and I offer special kudos to the hostess/server, Amanda--who always shines so brightly, you have to wear sunglasses to be in the same room with her! The food was good and our waiter was exceptional. If I had to have one negative, which I hate to do it is that there were a lot of available tables and we were there were two of us and we were set less than a foot from a table with a family of 10 people and our chairs were almost touching and they were all of these other tables available, but we didn’t get moved But otherwise a nice afternoon.

This was an annual special event opportunity to dine in the tea house. The food was wonderful. Part of the treat of course is that it is held in the middle of Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden during their winter Gardenfest of Light. The gardens were beautiful to look out on while enjoying a wonderful meal. This is also a fundraiser for the gardens, which we love to visit.
