Restaurants near Courtyard Kansas City Country Club Plaza

I usually enjoy our date nights at Cooper’s Hawk and tonight was no exception. We had a reservation and we were seated on time. Our server, Joseph was professional and attentive. It appeared as though Coopers Hawk was a little understaffed, but Joseph handled it with such grace. The food was brought out in a timely manner and was prepared to perfection. It was presented well and was delicious. I wish I would have taken some pictures. My wife had the Gnocchi Carbonara which was savory. I had the surf and turf with beef medallions that were tender and melted in your mouth. I also had the crusted grouper which was fantastic. The only drawback was it was a bit noisy, but other than that it was a great experience. I plan on coming back soon and would recommend Cooper’s Hawk to anyone.

Went during Restaurant Week , cocktails are wonderful, food amazing as always. Waiter was very personable and attentive, really enjoyed the dinner.

My wife and I each had the filet mignon entree from the KC Restaurant Week menu. Delicious. The filet came with whipped potatoes and steamed broccoli which was a pleasant surprise because we also had carmellized brussel sprouts to share. Service was exxcellent. Dessert choices were among 6. Atmosphere was casual. Our first time there, but not our last.

We were very impressed with the service! Drinks came out a little slow, maybe took 25 minutes? But food as requested was served really promptly! We loved their chicken meatballs and some of their sushi and their sliders; spinach dip, though very pretty was very hard to eat on little tables! Cocktails were a little on the too sweet side for me? Very hard to see the small menus and our food with a very dim lighting? But I’m not a young chicken anymore either! Hats off to this place for their very good work!  We were very impressed! 

Five stars to manager and team, who went out of their way to ensure we had a good dining experience after I returned the Mahi Mahi. Excellent service and atmosphere! Clam chowder was so good with rolls. Would try it again.
