We had a very nice time. The food was great. My husband’s steak was not medium rare so they quickly made another that was. It was delicious. We are interested in coming to a wine dinner.

My shrimp risotto was very good but a bit more salt made it better. Salad was as hoped for as were the rolls. My bourbon cocktail was lovely. The oysters and sauces were fabulous. We split the dessert ices. Yum. Lovely server. Nice Christmas Eve

Our family of vegetarians/vegans enjoyed a Christmas Eve early 4pm dinner upstairs overlooking the street---such a great table! Although there is usually only one veg/vegan main option offered, the veg sides we ordered as one meal were deliciously-seasoned, perfectly-cooked and yummy (brussels sprouts, cauliflower and french fries). The vegan offering on the main menu of shitake and wild rice was unique and possibly the best vegan entree I have ever had at Cafe Navarre. Our server was knowledgeable, helpful with menu options we could eat and suggesting adjustments chef could make, and attentive at a perfect level. Wines were great; my vodka cocktail was tasty but seemed a little light on the vodka. A very pleasant experience as always at Cafe Navarre :)
