- DDawnLos Angeles •2 reviews5.0Dined todayThat was the best meal I’ve ever experienced. Every dish had layers of flavors that were so delightful. I don’t have a refined palate to know where all of the flavors were coming from, but each bite was savored and appreciated. We ordered the naan, green beans, beets, chick peas fritters, poke, bass, short ribs noodles, pork belly, sesame cookie ice cream and the sundae. For drinks we had the goat fashioned, espresso martini, spa day, bees knees, and some Cadillac’s. There were four of us and there wasn’t a morsel left on any plate. The service was very friendly, attentive, comfortable and informative. The ONLY thing I would do different is make sure to get the naan first to scrape up every last bit of every sauce. If I could’ve gotten away with it I would have licked each plate clean ;) I’ve been wanting to try this restaurant for a very long time and tonight did not disappoint. I loved watching Chef Stephanie on Top Chef but have never had the chance to taste her food. And until tonight I’d never realized how truly elevated and special her dishes are. Thank you so much for an absolutely beautiful meal 💛More infoGirl & the Goat L.A.Price: Expensive• Contemporary American• Downtown•4.7
- CCherylLos Angeles •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThe food was really good, but I would prefer if they included coffee and tea with the brunch price. I was told there was a dress code but when we got there, everybody was very casual so I was confused. The staff was not very friendly, but the service was good and our food was good.More infoPerch LAPrice: Expensive• French American• Downtown•4.6
- SShaunavipLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoThis place is absolutely my favorite restaurant in LA! Every dish on the menu is delicious. You just can’t go wrong with anything!! My favorites are hummus with pita, king oyster mushroom kebab, grilled prawns, and whole lamb rack. The pita bread is freshly baked and it’s so soft that I want to scream when I dip it in the hummus! The mushroom kebab has a good balance between the smoky flavor and fresh lemon zest on top. The avocado sauce on the bottom also has a refreshing touch to it. And the whole lamb rack - you need to order this. Period. Unfortunately, they don’t have the braised beef cheek with coconut rice anymore… But they now have pomegranate sauced ox tail, which I need to try next time I go. Service is good. My server always checks to make sure everything is good. Every dish is introduced and explained when they are presented to the table. The atmosphere is great as well. The patio seating has heaters on so you don’t get cold at night. I absolutely enjoy every single bit of my dinner at this place every time! Not to mention I really like their hand soap… I need to get those for my own place.More infoBavelPrice: Expensive• Middle Eastern• Downtown•4.8
- LLauravipLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoBestia is a sleek restaurant with an industrial chic vibe. The ambiance of this place is energetic with high end quality food. It is one of my favorite places to go have dinner and the drinks are on point! The food is Italian inspired with innovative flavors making your palate salivate for more! Some of my favorite dishes that I would recommend from the menu are the bone marrow, homemade ricotta, cavatelli, branzino, and the ribeye. Whatever you choose from the menu you won’t be disappointed! I would definitely recommend Bestia over and over again but make sure to get reservations in advance!More infoBestiaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Downtown•4.7
- JJohnLos Angeles •5 reviews4.0Dined on Oct 14, 2024Traxx offers good value for the money in an historic setting amid the vaulted ceilings of LA’s Union Station. The companion bar across the way makes good cocktails. They are open 11 to 8 and Traxx is for lunch or an early dinner.More infoTraxxPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Downtown•3.7
