- CCassandraSacramento / Sacramento Valley •9 reviews5.0Dined on Oct 24, 2024This was our 2nd time dining at the restaurant, having attended in July for my birthday dinner. We were able to dine without a reservation, as we were seated about 4:30. (The restaurant opens at 4 pm). Because we were the only couple at the time, outside of a single gentleman who was present, we were catered to in a timely manner by our server, Janice, and the busboy throughout our meal. The food was hot, and our appetizers of truffle fries and deep fried avocado were hearty and delicious. My husband's NY steak was cooked perfectly, and so was my salmon and rissoto dish. The only nuisance were a couple of flies as we ate, but we dealt with it, as the server explained that management was working to keep that insect at bay, but it's that time of year with weather changes and being close by the ocean. Overall, it was a good experience again. We returned for the prime rib special on 10/23/24. That meal went well: the prime rib was cooked very well to our liking (medium rare), but the baked potato was not hot but warm enough to melt the butter and still tasty. Mixed veggies were also part of the meal and were cooked well. Because our reservation was for 7 pm, the restaurant was crowded, and the prime rib special is always offered on the day we dined, it was possible that they would have run out, but that wasn't the case here. Will visit this place again.More infoRivers Edge Grill & BarPrice: Expensive• American• Loleta•4.2
