Restaurants near Chaparral Prairie Nature Preserve

Our Valentines Day dinner was delicious! I had the eggplant parm and my husband had the special prime rib plus we had the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer and cheesecake for dessert. Don’t sleep on the tomatoes, they are so good! The only drawback was that we were seated near the station where the staff retrieved glasses and silverware. No matter how hard they tried, it was very noisy.

The reservation system worked well. It was Valentine's Day and we were seated way ahead of others who had to wait more than an hour per the hostess. We'll worth doing. The food was a little salty so next time we'll tell them to restrict it some. Good food - good service - good ambiance. It was worth it.

Our first time here. SERVICE AND FOOD was AMAZING! It was on a Monday night so it was quiet but they had country music playing. We had the BBQ pork and sausage it was so yummy and the corn bread, baked beans and coleslaw!! You will love it here.

Fun place on a Saturday night. We tried the Pot Roast Dinner and the Fish and Chips, both very good.

What a fun night! We look forward to this every year. 🥰
