Come dine in The Oldest Tapas Bar in Scotland Since we opened in 2003, La Tortilla Asesina has established itself as one of Inverness's most popular restaurants. It has developed a unique selection of paellas, some classic spanish paellas and some original local paellas. We have developed paella into a dish for any taste and any occasion, including delivery! We have a large range of tapas which you can treat as a meal, or as a starter to a meal. There are tapas to suit all tastes and we have some signature dishes that are unique to the restaurant, like our gambas pil-pil and our garlic chicken .. they have to be tried. We also have a range of specialist drinks that you won't find anywhere else, like our range of sangrias. We go to a lot of trouble to offer an interesting and affordable range of Spanish wine to have in the restaurant or to take away.Come and check us out

Our style is industrial prohibition with a splash of steampunk thrown in for good measure. We are also a dog-friendly bar! All well-behaved dogs are most welcome at Scotch & Rye. Aye Eat is a hidden gem in Inverness that confirmed why I've fallen in love with this city! Every bite was a revelation. The scotch eggs had a perfectly crisp exterior and a delightfully runny yolk. The soup of the day, bursting with flavor, warmed us right up. The mussels were incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection. And to top it all off, the Christmas dessert paired with mulled wine was a festive delight. What truly elevated the experience, however, was the fantastic service. Nina and Kieran were the epitome of hospitality – friendly, attentive, and genuinely funny. Their attempt to converse in French with my boyfriend added a special touch to the charming atmosphere. Kieran, consider this a friendly challenge – next time, I expect a rendition of the Greek 🇬🇷 anthem to complete the experience! We can't wait to return!

The whole experiences from start to finish was outstanding. We were greeted with such a warm welcome and nothing was to much, the initial drinks order was done very swiftly then we was given as much time as we needed to order. The Food!! well what can I say. from the presentation to the table was first class. And I can honestly say both me and my wife agreed that this was the best Sunday Roast that we have EVER tasted. I actually have no accurate words to describe it. The departure from the restaurant was equally as perfect as the whole time there and front of house and there serving staff I could not fault. It was such a breathe of fresh air to be in a restaurant of this class. Well done all Absolutely Perfect and could not fault one aspect of it all. Finally well done to the man in the background!!!!! The CHEF, and what a CHEF
