Bata is a restaurant designed to celebrate the best our region has to offer. We cook over a live oak fire, on our custom fabricated hearth. Our menu changes daily. We mill AZ grown grain in house, daily. We focus on whole animal butchery, done in house. We have an extensive fermentation program. Our bar program largely focuses on wines that are organic, biodynamic, and produced with minimal intervention. The cocktail list highlights the best products of the season, with a carefully curated list of spirits from across the globe. We believe that our hospitality is just as important as the food and beverages we put on the table. We do not encourage our restaurant for young children.     Review for [Steakhouse Name] I recently had the pleasure of dining at this steak house and while the food was excellent, the true highlight of the evening was our server, Hugo. From the moment we were seated, Hugo set the tone for an exceptional dining I highly recommend asking for Hugo. His service takes an already excellent restaurant to the next level. We’ll definitely be returning next time we are in the area.

    We were seated on time and our requested accommodations were met. The food and drinks were fresh and appropriately hot/cold and delicious. Because of a problem with a tap, the beer I ordered was unreasonably delayed. While understandably this can happen, I would have appreciated being offered a different selection. Overall, excellent.
