The restaurant was great. Food was farm to table using local products. Had the restaurant week menu and everything was outstanding. The chef blended spices and produce to achieve amazing flavors. The service was awesome, the servers were attentive and professional.

We had an enjoyable meal at Sassafras Southern Bistro. Portions were generous and everything we ordered was very good. We started with the fried green tomatoes and the wedge salad. For entrees we had the seafood trio and the fried chicken. We will definitely return.

Dined before a show. Our server was exceptional! She was very attentive and ensured we had plenty of time. I have been several times and the food is always delicious. The potatoes, beets, Nero pasta dish, Focaccia were perfect!

The biscuits for a cause were hot and tasty. My daughter loved the fried chicken and thought it was perfectly cooked. The fried green tomatoes were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside with delicious grits underneath. The service was quick and friendly! Great lunch!
