- SShariGreater Boston •2 reviews5.0Dined todayWhat a lovely place! I went for breakfast this time (dinner last time). It was just perfect. I ordered the smoked salmon avocado toast which was both delicious and beautiful. An off-menu order of a couple of egg whites was easily accepted. Strangely, the egg whites were absolutely delicious! I stay "strangely" because how can egg whites be great? But they were! Do yourself a favor and go to Apropos for any meal or just a drink or dessert. You will be glad that you did!More infoApropos Restaurant at The Abbey InnPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Peekskill•4.5
- LLizVIPNew York City •6 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoIt was our first time going to Hudson Valley Steakhouse. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left the service was impeccable. The wait staff all worked together to make sure our dining experience was perfect. The food was incredible. We stated with the 2 Hudson Valley Salads for 6 people. Delish. We also ordered 2 Porterhouse Steaks along with Mashed potatoes, Hudson Valley Potatoes and Creamed spinach. Big portions. We were all full. The owner was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed. Oh... the martinis were amazing too. Will definitely return.More infoHudson Valley SteakhousePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Yorktown Heights•4.9
- KKathleenVIPGreater Boston •86 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoMy sister and I decided to visit Bear Mountain for High Tea in memory of our Mom who was born in London. We had a lovely time. The tea selection was plentiful and both were delicious. Then the tower of finger sandwiches and goodies arrived - everything was wonderful. And the surroundings within and outside the Bear Mountain Inn are gorgeous. Thanks for a special time!More infoRestaurant 1915 and Blue Roof Tapas Bar - Bear MountainPrice: Very Expensive• American• Bear Mountain•4.2

- JjaneNew York City •6 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 12, 2024We had a lovely lunch at the Thayer. The fried chicken was expertly seasoned and the best I've had. Crunchy where it should be and juicy and tender inside. The Cole slaw was just right. Great snap to the fries. The other dish was the Chicken Salad club. Hit every mark and totally enjoyed it. We also ordered the soup of the day and the only mishap was it was brought out not piping hot. A quick word to the waiter and the soup was retuned and the temperature was corrected. In fairness, most restaurants never serve piping hot soup, which they should. We had a view of the Hudson and the ambiance of the hotel and restaurant is old world elegance. The price was very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. We will definitely go back. It would be a fabulous place to watch the autumn colors. Next time.More infoMacArthur's Restaurant at The Historic Thayer HotelPrice: Very Expensive• American• West Point•3.7
