Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca. We had the 3 course market lunch which was superb, good value and in lovely surroundings. We have been here several times before and will undoubtedly go again. When the food at most British pubs seems to consist of burgers or reheated ready meals, it is a refreshing change to enjoy some proper cooking of fresh food at a reasonable price.
